Wild Maine mussels are harvested from the natural coastal environments of Maine, growing on intertidal rocks, pilings and ocean beds. They are collected using hand rakes or small boat drags, offering a true taste of the rugged Maine coastline.

Due to their natural growing conditions, wild Maine mussels may arrive a bit dirtier than standard PEI or Hollander mussels. Their size can also vary depending on the season and weather conditions, with larger-sized mussels available to order when conditions allow.
