Smokey Bay oysters are grown in the cold, protected waters of Baynes Sound on Vancouver Island. This area is known for clean Pacific tides and steady water movement, which help produce oysters that have beautiful shells are consistent and a fairly easy shuck. They have strong shells and a deep, clean cup. On the half shell, they offer a bright Pacific brine with a refreshing, lightly sweet finish and a strong cucumber finish.
