Jimmy Fund Golds for Dana-Farber

Brunswick, ME
We’ve partnered with Dana-Farber and the Jimmy Fund to help raise money for cancer research. In collaboration with Mere Point Oyster Farm, we’re proud to bring you these truly delicious and distinctive oysters. For every bag sold, we will donate $4 to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. These oysters are grown off-bottom and tumbled multiple times before reaching the market, resulting in a clean, grit-free shell and plump, flavorful meats. Grown in Maquoit Bay—an area with minimal freshwater influence—they boast a bold, full brine.

the Grower

Mere Point Oyster Company is a family-owned and operated oyster farm located in Brunswick, Maine. The company began in 2014 when Dan Devereaux approached Doug Niven with the idea of growing oysters off Doug’s dock. Their shared vision was rooted in a desire for their sons to grow up loving the coast of Maine as deeply as they do—and to have the opportunity to build meaningful lives in Brunswick, the town where they were raised. Today, Mere Point Oyster Company remains a true family business. It employs both Doug and Dan’s sons, along with up to 20 local workers, reflecting the founders’ commitment to community, sustainability, and the enduring spirit of Maine’s coastline.

The program is being conducted by a Commercial Co-Venturer. Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund do not endorse or promote any company’s products or services.
