Clark's Island Oysters

Grown just to the south of Duxbury Bay, Clark's Island is made up of a sandy bottom with fast moving currents. The conditions differ enough here that oysters can't be grown on the bottom as they are just a couple miles to the north in Duxbury.

Growout Method

6mm seed is first placed in growout bags, tumbled, and then moved to trays for final growout. Time to market: 2 to 2.5 years.
