Russ Sandbloom – Sunken Meadow

Prior to oyster farming, Russ owned a motel and a plumbing and heating business.  He owned some real estate on Cape Cod Bay and, being the consummate entrepreneur, recognized the increased popularity of oysters and decided to give it a try. Today, he proudly sells Sunken Meadow oysters and operates the business with his daughter.  He enjoys the work out of his love for nature. He is particularly enchanted with his site, which rests near the shore of Audobon Society protected land, which means there is no foot or boat traffic on his site.  Russ loves enjoying the serenity of his site at sunrise and sunset.
